Vodafone sends personalized birthday greetings to existing customers.
A girl writes a personal birthday message on a piece of paper, folds it into a paper airplane, takes off and - swoosh - the paper airplane transforms into a data stream that now begins its journey to the recipient: the personalized message beams through orbit, back to earth and to the birthday child's address on the birthday child's display.
The personalized video is combined with a shopping voucher that can be redeemed in one of around 1,500 Vodafone stores, turning the customer's appreciation into a purchase.
